Project description
Translation of the original Hungarian project disclosure.
The project aimed to create a chip insertion machine as an integral part of the UHF RFID identification system developed and manufactured by RF-IT Hungary Kft. over many years. The machine rests on a mechanical steel frame with lockable wheels, designed to carry at least 150 kg. It contains two separate electromechanical winding units linked by their control system, and a pneumatic single-arm insertion unit. Tubular bag film and a roll of UHF RFID labels are positioned at the front. During operation, the unwinding unit feeds the film into the converting machine at the required tension. The labelling unit applies the label, and the pocket-forming unit folds a pocket at the bottom of the bag. This is then welded for additional protection before being passed to the RFID writing unit.
The resulting product is intended for public service operators with an installed UHF RFID system, so that residents receive chip-equipped waste bags for their additional waste.
